The youngsters from Croxteth Child Development Service have designed a series of giant wheelie bin stickers to promote recycling messages.

They designed a series of three stickers as part of competition organised by the Fire Support Network’s Remove to Reuse project and funded by Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) and Veolia’s Community Fund.

MRWA Chief Executive Carl Beer said: “It’s great to get children involved in projects like this because they have so much influence over the habits of their parents and are really creative.

“The children have come up with some brilliant and very eye-catching ideas so I’m sure they’ll help get the message across.”
