Following a period of extensive public
consultation between February and March 2020, Veolia has now submitted an application for a new Advanced Energy Recovery Facility to
Hampshire County Council.
During the course of the consultation, five public exhibitions were held across Alton, Holybourne, Bentley, Froyle and Binsted. In total, 596 people attended the exhibitions, with 366 individual pieces of feedback submitted
either via telephone, email, letter or the feedback form which was available on the project website and at the events.
Veolia has listened carefully to the feedback and concerns raised by attendees and has provided a full response to the comments submitted within the Statement of Community Involvement which has been submitted
alongside the planning application.
The submission documents are available to view using the link on this page. The
documents are also available to view on the Hampshire County Council website here.
Please note the documents accessible on this webpage, via the adjacent link, are the submission documents only. Any future amended or supplementary information will be available via the Hampshire County Council Portal.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans and other documents submitted with the application on the Strategic Planning website or by making arrangements directly with the Case Officer to view a paper copy of the application.
