## How we produce Safemix Equestrian Bedding
Safemix Equestrian is our premium bedding blend that combines high-quality wood shavings with sterile woodchip. The product undergoes a specialised manufacturing process.

### How many Safemix Equestrian bales should I use?
It depends on the size of the stable, whether you have rubber stable mats, and your preference in depth of horse bedding. For an average 12ft x 12ft stable with rubber mats, we would recommend you start a new bed using 4-5 bales of Safemix Equestrian, then top-up with around half a bale per week. Some horse owners only use a thin layer of Safemix on rubber mats.
Safemix is very absorbent which makes it economical to use - you can use less than conventional wood shavings. More bales will be required if you want to create a deeper bed.
