Community Benefit Fund - Helping Residents bring colour to Saxton Gardens

The residents of Saxton Gardens are rightly proud of their local community but felt that they needed a bit of colour to their green areas. Veolia have funded new planters, gardening tools and seeds so that all local residents can take part in this gardening initiative and brighten up their neighbourhood.

Pearl McArdle, Chair of Saxton Gardens Residents Committee said ‘It’s good to see that local businesses like Veolia take a positive interest in the local community and we’re really grateful to them for taking the time to visit us and to help fund this community benefit’.

The Community Benefit Fund was set up to help support initiatives in the local community and ensure that residents benefit directly from Veolia’s operations in Leeds. The fund supports local community projects that provide the greatest sustainable benefits to the Leeds community.
