Ever wondered what happens to your rubbish once your black bin is emptied?
The Leeds Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility (RERF) will now be offering schools, colleges and universities the opportunity of a free visit to the state-of-the-art facility.
In our purpose-built education centre, visitors can discover and learn about the journey of black bin household waste and learn new ways to recycle, reuse and reduce.
Visitors can also take part in a wide range of activities testing their knowledge, and get involved in quizzes and games.
Our programme also supports a range of National Curriculum and Key Stage themes including geography, science, numeracy and literacy.
