Marguerite Ulrich Appointed as New HR Director for Veolia

Marguerite Ulrich will manage all HR functions for Veolia’s 12,000 staff

Veolia Environmental Services (UK) plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Marguerite Ulrich as Human Resources Director who will also be joining the company’s Executive Committee.

Previously Marguerite was Vice President of Human Resources for Veolia Environmental Services (Technical Solutions) in USA where she has led the human resource function to include learning and development since 2006.  

Over her 25 year career, Marguerite has worked in all facets of human resources and is very passionate about her vocation and the importance of continuous learning and talent development. 

Marguerite will manage all HR functions for Veolia’s 12,000 staff including its learning and development programme. She will also continue to evolve the ‘Back 2 business’ strategy which reflects the company’s commitment to social value.

This includes supporting Veolia’s extensive apprenticeship scheme and the Re-Start programme which is providing work experience placements for individuals not in education, employment or training and a prison rehabilitation scheme helping provide recycling education and on-site work experience. She is also passionate about improving diversity across the industry following her appointment as Chairperson of the Veolia Environnement North America Diversity and Inclusion.
