Local residents invited to Ellesmere Port Thermal Processing site
Residents in Ellesmere Port and neighbouring areas are invited to take a look behind the scenes at our Ellesmere Port Thermal Processing site on Saturday 22nd October 2011. Veolia Environmental Services, operators of the site, will be holding the special Open Day from 10am to 3pm and all visitors are welcome.
The event is designed to show how a state-of-the-art Thermal Processing Facility works and turns waste into a resource.
During the day visitors can experience:
• Guided Tour of the facility
• Experiments in the laboratory
• Children’s entertainment
