Do you have the winning ticket?

Veolia and Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) are calling for residents who have recycled electrical items at a Recycling Centre to check if they have a winning scratch card.

The ‘scratch to win’ competition, launched in August, gave residents who recycled an electrical item at Merseyside and Halton Recycling Centre’s a scratch card. Lots of prizes have been given away, including a Kindle Fire HD, smoothie makers and digital cameras. But, with the competition drawing to a close at the end of October, there are still unclaimed prizes.

So, check your cars and back pockets for any winning scratch cards that you might have forgotten about, could you be a winner? Unclaimed prizes include such as; hair straighteners, handheld vacuum cleaners, DAB radios, MP3 video players, foot spas and cordless screwdrivers.

The Recycling Centre’s, that Veolia and MRWA are urging people to check if they received a winning ticket from are; South Sefton, West Kirby, Clatterbridge, Otterspool, Huyton and Kirkby HWRC’s.
