The Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority and Veolia Community Fund for 2016/17 launches on Tuesday 9th February 2016.
A Merseyside-wide search has begun for community and voluntary groups, not for profit enterprises and schools with vision to transform the region’s recycling and resource-saving habits.
Merseyside Waste and Recycling Authority (MRWA) is offering a share of a £110,000 Community Fund pot for the brightest and greenest schemes across Merseyside and Halton.
Applicants have three weeks to register interest in the funding and must prove how they will reduce, reuse or recycle household waste, cut carbon emissions and deliver job and volunteering opportunities and other benefits.
