Accreditation

An environmental accreditation can deliver continuous improvement and enhanced brand value
An environmental accreditation ISO 50001 ISO 14001 from Veolia engineers

An environmental certification, such as ISO 14001 or ISO 50001, recognises the results achieved in terms of environmental performance and long term continuous improvement.

How we can help?

Veolia supports our customers through every step in the process of achieving an accreditation. Starting at the initial application phase (for customers who are beginning a certification process) through to achieving the accreditation and then on to the continuous improvement phase to maintain the certification we work with our customers at all stages.

We conduct the initial building and process audit. We then prepare a plan of actions needed to achieve the accreditation. Using our Hubgrade smart monitoring tool we report on improvements delivered and show progress against the objectives set.

How do we deliver value?

  • Clear roadmap to achieving and retaining an accreditation
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Improved environmental performance
  • Cost savings and efficiencies
  • Enhanced brand value

Meeting ISO 50001 energy standards helps to achieve best practice in energy management

Accreditation
eBay in Dublin has partnered with Veolia since 2007 to deliver excellence in utility maintenance and facility management which culminated in eBay achieving the ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard, the first eBay site globally to achieve this

Using Hubgrade to find smarter ways of working with the mechanical and electrical plant on site Veolia was able to achieve large-scale energy savings and reduced CO2 emissions for eBay.  A 16% reduction in electricity, a 13% reduction in gas, 14% less water consumption in the first 6 months and 174 tonnes of CO2 emissions saved led to ISO 50001 certification in December 2014.
