Veolia’s EnviroGrant supports Schools outdoor learning equipment

The Forest school experience involves taking a small group of children (aged 2 - 5) to a forest area on the school grounds for outdoor activities. Funding would provide the outdoor clothing / waterproofs to make this possible..

Kevin Parker, Regional Communications Manager for Veolia said: ‘This is a fantastic idea and the link between the community, school and wildlife fits perfectly with the criteria for an EnviroGrant. We wish the school and the newts the best of luck!”

The Nottinghamshire EnviroGrant Scheme is a community fund in which not-for-profit community groups, based in the county of Nottinghamshire, can apply for grants of up to £1,000. The grants can be used for projects intended to improve the local environment. Projects with an environmental / green focus are prioritised, however all applications are considered on their individual merit.

If your project requires considerable financial assistance (i.e. more than £1,000), please visit the Veolia Environmental Trust website at www.veoliatrust.org.uk  to find out if it qualifies for funding under the Landfill Communities Fund.
