Adoption of private sewers
In October 2011, water and wastewater companies took on the responsibility to maintain all sewers and lateral drains connected to their sewer network, which were previously owned by you. This means we are now responsible for the pipe work from your property to the main sewer network, but not those within your property. For more information read our Adoption of private sewers leaflet:
