Take a walk on the wild side

At the event Jean-Dominique Mallet, Chief Executive Officer at Veolia Environmental Services UK said: “Our involvement in this book complements Veolia’s commitment to both the environment and biodiversity and demonstrates our willingness to support sustainable development. We have a strong relationship with The Wildlife Trusts and have worked with them on valuable projects that have helped make a difference.”

The Wildlife Trusts’ Chief Executive Stephanie Hilborne, OBE added that the book was perfect for anyone who “wants to rediscover nature, see the UK’s wild side or introduce children to the natural world.”

The launch of the book comes in the run up to World Environment Day (5 June), run by the United Nations Environment Programme and designed to encourage people around the world to do something positive for the environment.

The Wildlife Trusts will receive a 10% royalty on all copies of the book that are sold.
