This follows the launch of the new business offering to provide customers with the opportunity to gain part of the new circular economy package utilising Veolia’s expertise in water, waste and energy. This includes:
• Site audits
• Dedicated account managers
• Latest technology and capital investment.
Solutions range from creating a new cleaning product out of detergent that had passed its sell-by date for Procter and Gamble to turning spent draft from a distilling process into biomass and used as part of the anaerobic digestion process.
Forbes McDougall, Head of Circular Economy at Veolia UK said “Everyone in the industry is talking about the circular economy however these case studies show real examples of how we are helping our customers make it a reality! With £23 billion of annual savings estimated for businesses every year our customers want to know how they will gain value for this and we have real examples of the how!”
