Promoting Recycling with Schools

As part of our work to promote recycling with schools, we partnered with UTV Media and ran a competition to give young people the chance to write and produce their own radio commercial.

The objectives of the competition were to:

Give an insight into the real world of work

Create a task to test students' understanding of Veolia and the services provided for the community

Raise awareness of how Veolia can help businesses to recycle more

The competition was won by three talented students from St John Fisher High School in West Yorkshire, who were delighted to have their idea brought to life and broadcast on local radio and social media channels.
