Coming soon to a home near you – new blue bin and box collections dates!

New blue bin and box collection date calendars are appearing in homes across the city. Residents can expect to find the new calendars put through their letter boxes before the end of September. Any residents who have not received a new collection calendar by Friday 30th September should call: 0114 273 4567 or email: [email protected]

Judith Turner, director of operations, collection and recycling at Veolia Environmental Services in Sheffield comments: “We hope that residents find their new calendars really easy to use.  Not only are the calendars updated with the new 2011-2012 collection dates, they also include a reminder of how to make the most of your recycling service.”

Residents are asked to present their blue bin and blue box on the pavement by 7.00am on the day of collection and to make sure that the bin/box does not block the highway or pavement.
