The HWRCs are provided for Sheffield residents to dispose of household waste from their own homes, such as: garden waste, electrical or electronic equipment, furniture and other bulky household items.
Veolia Environmental Services would also like to remind residents that the five HWRCs operate a vehicle permit scheme. Veolia Environmental Services operates the permit scheme on behalf of Sheffield City Council, to prevent the illegal disposal of trade waste at any of the sites. The rules mean that 4x4s with pickups, small vans, Short Wheel Base transit vans, mini buses and cars with trailers will only be allowed on site with a permit.
