Residents reminded that the 2012 clear sack service for the collection of garden waste is due to end soon.

Residents who have purchased clear sacks as part of the clear sack service for the collection of garden waste are being reminded that they need to book their final collection by Friday 23rd November before the service ends for the year.

The chargeable clear sack service is provided by Veolia Environmental Services, and allows residents the option to have garden waste removed from their homes.
Kathy Wright, Customer Services Manager, Veolia Environmental Services says “Residents with any leftover clear sacks should use them before the service ends, because they are only valid for this year. Residents can arrange a collection of between 5 and 10 sacks by contacting Veolia on 0114 2734567”
Residents are reminded that they are able to take green waste to any of the five Household Waste Recycling Centres.
