A surprise rainbow has appeared outside our Lumley Street Depot. Streets Ahead, who are responsible for the City wide highways maintenance contract, have been busy putting these road markings in key places around the city to say thank you to Key Workers.
Veolia workers have worked hard during these unprecedented times to ensure that services continue to run with minimal disruption, the rainbow is a welcome gesture of thanks. The rainbow has already brought a smile to many faces as crew and office staff see it as they arrive into work every day.
Our staff at Veolia Sheffield have been busy gathering much needed food items to donate the Trussel Trust who have a number of Foodbanks based around Sheffield providing emergency food to people in crisis. Food parcels are being delivered to help protect people during this difficult time.
If you would like to help, then look out for the foodbank collection points which are positioned in supermarkets across the City.

To mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, our Lumley Street office team recorded a very special tribute. It was a very rewarding and moving activity to honour the sacrifices made by our Military Services.

During these unprecedented times, people are really looking after one another in different ways. We received a lovely surprise from Sheffield College; a gift of cookies and scrummy chocolate brownies. They were much appreciated, and went down a treat!
