£15,000 of funding available to community groups across the county in Shropshire.

Veolia EnviroGrant Shropshire scheme is now CLOSED.

Veolia, the UK’s leading resource management company and Shropshire Council have teamed up to offer £15,000 in funding to the county’s local community groups and clubs.

Veolia's EnviroGrant Shropshire scheme enables clubs or groups to apply for up to £1,000 in funding for projects that benefit the local community or environment in the county of Shropshire.  This could be projects that improve or protect the local environment through practical action or education, or projects that improve the quality of life for the local community by providing or improving facilities and resources.

The EnviroGrant scheme is aimed at groups who are looking to improve areas, from planting wildflowers to clearing paths to enable access.  Whether you are doing a project that focuses on reuse and recycling, or a local school looking at developing a forest school, they want to hear from you.

The funding project is one of the many ways that Shropshire Council’s waste contract with Veolia goes to benefit the local community.

Who can apply?

To apply, groups must be properly constituted not-for-profit organisations in the county of Shropshire.
