Veolia's Sustainability Fund supports

community projects in Southwark

If your project will help to transform your local community or environment, we want to hear from you!

Applications for 2022 will open in May.

What is the Sustainability Fund?

The Sustainability Fund will provide cash sponsorship, in-kind resources or staff volunteers to support not-for-profit organisations and community groups to transform their local community or environment.

A successful project will provide evidence of one or more of the following:

  • Enhancing biodiversity,
  • Promoting sustainable waste behaviours (reduce, reuse and/or recycle),
  • Protecting or preserving resources and the environment,
  • Its use of recycled, reused or reclaimed materials.

Veolia Southwark's Education, Communication and Outreach Team will look favourably on projects that have considered the long-term or ongoing benefits for the community and will consider all projects based on merit.

Who can apply?

Any not-for-profit organisation, community group or individuals can apply to the Sustainability Fund.

How?

There are two ways to apply...
If yours is a small project requiring the maximum pledge of £1,000 or less, you can apply directly here.
If you need more than our maximum pledge and/or would like to attract the support of your community, you can set up your project on Spacehive and start crowdfunding today!

It’s easy to join the crowdfunding community:

  1. Visit www.spacehive.com/movement.veoliauk and upload your project.
  2. Search Veolia's Sustainability Find for Communities and send us your pitch.

You don’t need to be an officially constituted group or organisation to apply to our fund. Show us a great idea and how you plan to get there and we’ll consider all applications over the 2022 summer.
