Staffordshire - In Partnership

veolia staffordshire Working in Partnership

How we work in Partnership with Staffordshire

Veolia is a global company that delivers integrated waste management and environmental services to local communities and businesses. We currently operate six Energy Recovery Facilities in the UK with others under construction or awaiting planning determination and are committed to meeting the highest environmental and technical standards.

The company is already a major local employer in South Staffordshire and we have a regional head office located at Kingswood in Cannock and also we have re-located Campus Veolia to Four Ashes.

Over the coming years, we will build on this strong track record to deliver the best possible solution at Four Ashes and support Staffordshire as the county works towards achieving zero waste to landfill.

Community Liaison Group

Staffordshire County Council has emphasised that public involvement with the development of this facility will be of particular importance. Veolia also recognises the importance of working with the local community.

As part of our commitment to building and maintaining good relationships with communities in and around Four Ashes and elsewhere in Staffordshire, we have established a Community Liaison Group that meets on a regular basis.

The first Community Liaison Group met at the end of March 2011.  Click the link below to view the minutes of this meeting:

At this meeting we asked for further applications to join the Community Liaison Group.

The group will meet approximately every three months and will be attended by representatives from Veolia, Staffordshire County Council and neighbouring Parish Councils and also representatives of the local community and businesses. The group will give members the opportunity to discuss information regarding the construction and operation of the Energy Recovery Facility (ERF).
