Raising awareness of environmental issues with Keele University
Awareness of environmental issues has never been so important. With this in mind, we have worked with Keele University to produce this free downloadable educational resource.
The resource covers all key stages of the National Curriculum. There are lessons on how to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover waste as well as sustainability and climate change. In each key stage you will find lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations and activities to take part in.
There is also the chance to visit W2R Staffordshire ERF at Four Ashes. Here pupils will learn about Energy Recovery and take part in activities.

In Key Stage 1 pupils will meet Mr. Owl, Mr. Worm and Mr Polar Bear.
In Key Stage 2 pupils with become Planet Protectors.
In Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils debate issues and even design their own Eco Town.
