Veolia in the local community

Promoting recycling and sustainability
Veolia seek to improve awareness of and engagement in recycling by talking to residents about the service. We do this through talks, information stands and door knocking campaigns. We also offer visits to local Veolia sites in Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury, namely the Materials Recovery Facility (where the purple top bin materials are sorted) and the Energy Recovery Facility (where the red-top bin materials are used to make energy). we also seek to promote reducing waste and reusing materials, as well as composting - all part of promoting a greener way to live. If you're interested in a talk, information stand or a visit, please contact Ruth Jones on 07824 545597 or [email protected]
