Working with the Community

Veolia working with the Community

Veolia works with local groups to help provide information about recycling and waste services.

Veolia works to support the local community through the promotion and education of recycling. Alongside this the company offers financial grants to groups and organisations that work to improve the environment and community of Telford and Wrekin. The Sports Grant scheme offers local clubs the opportunity to apply for up to £500. Our EnviroGrant Scheme offers grants of up to £1000 for community or environmental projects within the borough. These grants are currently closed for applications; the relevant forms will appear on this page in the summer, including a new application form, details of the closing date and the eligibility criteria, please check back again then.

For anyone who wishes to learn more about the recycling process, we offer tours of our Materials Recycling Facility in Wolverhampton and Energy Recovery Facilities in Stafford and Shrewsbury. If you run a local community group and would like more information about the recycling services in Telford & Wrekin or to book a tour of one of our facilities please contact Ruth Jones on 07824 545597 or
