Easter Period Collection Changes

Residents in West Berkshire are being reminded that their rubbish and recycling will be collected one day later than usual from Friday 29 March to Saturday 6 April due to the Easter bank holidays.

Collections will return to normal on Monday 8 April. Any residents unsure about which day to put out their waste are asked to check their Spring Recycle for West Berkshire newsletter or visit www.westberks.gov.ukHilary Cole, West Berkshire's Executive Councillor for the Environment said: “Please don’t forget to place any extra recycling created over the Easter period into the correct recycling bin. Everything from   leftovers from family meals or cardboard packaging from  your Easter eggs can be recycled." 
 
General Manager of Veolia Environmental Services in West Berkshire, Mark Gray said: “We want to remind all residents that the collection crews will be coming one day later than normal over the Easter holidays. If anyone is unsure which day their household waste or recycling is collected, we ask them to check their collection calendar.”
