Final Reminder to take part in Veolia's 'Tree-cycle' Campaign

If like most people, you are trying to find ways to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions, for Nottinghamshire residents the Tree-cycling campaign can help. It’s a big tick if your resolution this year is to ‘Be Greener’ as it’s recycling garden waste and helping a very worthy charity at the same time.

All the real Christmas trees and garden waste taken to any of the 12 Nottinghamshire Recycling Centres throughout January, will add to the donation total. For every 50 tonnes Veolia will donate £100 to Portland College, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Charity of the Year.

Lea Hawkes, General Manager for Veolia says: “If you have taken our New Year Resolution challenge to be greener, then our Tree-cycling campaign is a fantastic way to begin! You’ll also be helping a very worthwhile charity at the same time.”
