Advent Day 3

Real or Reusable, which tree will you buy this year?

It's not just a decision based on which tree looks or smells better, but which is more environmentally beneficial?

It's not a simple debate and there's lots to learn, you can read more about the great tree debate here

Which ever tree you decide on when the festivities are over, make sure that you do the right thing:

Reusable - Pack it down and package it well, keep it safe until next year, reuse for as many years as possible.

Real - Re-plant it if you can, if you can't then you can take it to be recycled at one of the County's recycling centres.  Trees taken for recycling are either chipped to make paths in parks and gardens, or shredded for composting, turning waste into a resource.
