Being a specialist company within Veolia, this has given us the springboard to continue to evolve in the dynamic livestock bedding sector, enabling us to offer our customers throughout the UK a range of sustainable wood and paper-crumb products at competitive prices, together with a very high standard of customer care.
Let’s start with poultry. Back in May, Arden once again attended the British Pig & Poultry Fair at its new home at the NEC Birmingham and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with all our acquaintances in this close-knit industry. Obviously, a hot topic of discussion centred around poultry health, and it was the perfect opportunity to show a video of how our products are meticulously produced at Arden, shining a lens on our bio-secure delivery service to poultry farms across the UK.
We also attended numerous other regional poultry conferences around most nations of the UK, including the much-loved EPIC, now a staple event in the poultry calendar, and one we have been proud to support as a Gold Sponsor for many years.
Our market leading Safemix poultry bedding is an industry proven choice trusted by many poultry farmers, and we have been delighted to add Agribed (kiln-dried sterile paper crumb) to our product range, which is also proving to be very effective, especially for those with slower growing breeds of bird – the latter is likely to become more standardised over the next few years to ensure compliance with the Better Chicken Commitment.
Dairy events featured too, and once again Arden exhibited at UK Dairy Day in Telford, where we showcased both our Agrisorb sawdust and Agrisoft paper crumb products to the many dairy farmers who visit this annual event. Both are highly effective kiln-dried products developed specifically for cattle, and both are very economical too. Our livestock bedding perfectly complements the products and services offered by Veolia’s Agriculture Division, which places us in a strong position to offer a complete solution to not just dairy farmers, but other livestock farmers too – look out for our trade stand at the many agricultural and county shows in 2025!
And most recently, the Arden brand shone brightly at Horse of the Year Show, as the Official Bedding Supplier to this prestigious equestrian event with our Safemix Equestrian bedding. It is always a privilege to show our support for this incredible equine spectacle, and it makes us proud to know that some of the top competition horses in the world are enjoying the comfort of Safemix Equestrian. We now look forward to exhibiting at the National Equine Show on 1 and 2 March 2025. All this ‘horse talk’, leads us on to making some exciting sponsorship announcements early in 2025 – so please watch this space!
