Terms and Conditions for National Caregivers Day Appreciation Campaign:
A) This campaign is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over who are customers of Veolia UK. Employees of Veolia UK, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the campaign are not eligible to participate. Caregivers may be nominated by eligible customers but do not need to be Veolia customers themselves.
B) Only one nomination per person will be accepted. Multiple nominations from the same individual will result in disqualification.
C) The nomination period closes on Tuesday 24th February at 5pm GMT.
D) Up to five (5) nominees will be selected by a panel at Veolia UK from all eligible nominations received. The panel's decision is final and we will not be able to provide feedback on individual nominations or discuss the selection process. Each selected nominee will receive a bouquet of flowers delivered to their postal address. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
E) Nominators must provide the caregiver's name, phone number, a valid postal address for delivery, and a brief explanation of why they are nominating them (including specific examples of care or support provided). By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms they have obtained the nominee's consent to share their personal information and to receive a gift from Veolia UK.
F) Selected nominees will be notified via the contact details provided on the nomination form within 14 days of the campaign closing date. Veolia UK may also contact nominators or nominees to acknowledge their participation in the campaign. Bouquets will be delivered by post or courier to the address provided. Veolia UK is not responsible for any delivery delays, failed deliveries due to incorrect address information, or the condition of flowers upon arrival due to circumstances beyond our control.
G) Any personal data supplied will be used solely for the administration of this campaign and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Data will not be shared with third parties except as required for prize fulfilment (e.g., florist delivery service). By entering, nominators confirm they have the nominee's consent to share their personal information.
H) Veolia UK reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the campaign and these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of circumstances beyond its control. Veolia UK reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all nominators and nominees and to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these terms. The decision of Veolia UK regarding any aspect of the campaign is final and binding.
I) These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
