Arden's 2025 Year in Review: Poultry, Equestrian and Dairy Bedding
With continued investment in operations and fleet, a strong focus on quality, and close collaboration with customers nationwide, Arden Wood Shavings Ltd has further strengthened its position as a trusted supplier of premium wood shavings and alternative animal bedding solutions.
Arden in the Poultry Bedding Industry
Throughout 2025, Arden continued to support the poultry industry with consistent, bio-secure bedding solutions designed to meet the demands of modern poultry production.
Our market leading Safemix poultry bedding is an industry proven choice trusted by many poultry farmers, alongside our more economical alternative bedding product, Agribed, the kiln-dried paper based bulk bedding solution.
We attended numerous regional poultry conferences around the UK this year, including the prestigious EPIC, the most anticipated event in our poultry calendar, and one we were proud to support as a Platinum Sponsor this year.
Arden have also been pleased to support next generation events, including the NFU - Poultry Industry Programmes charity event night, as well as the summer social and Christmas quiz for the Women in Poultry Production Group.
Arden in the Equestrian Bedding Sector
The equestrian sector remained a key focus for Arden in 2025, with growing demand for comfortable, clean, and easy-to-manage bedding, something our Safemix Equestrian bedding ticks all the boxes for.
Most recently, the Arden brand exhibited at Horse of the Year Show, as the Official Bedding Supplier to this prestigious equestrian event with our Safemix Equestrian bedding. It is always a privilege to show our support for this incredible equine extravaganza, and it makes us proud to know that some of the top competition horses in the UK are enjoying the comfort of Safemix Equestrian. We now look forward to exhibiting at the National Equine Show from the 28th of February to the 1st of March 2026. Cattle Bedding and Livestock Events
In the dairy sector, Arden’s bedding products helped farmers maintain clean, comfortable, and hygienic housing conditions for livestock throughout the year.
Earlier in the year we attended UK Dairy Day in Telford, followed by numerous Agricultural shows throughout the summer months including the prestigious Royal Highland Show. You may even have seen us at some of the Northern cattle markets and dairy sales in more recent months, where we showcased both our Agrisorb sawdust and Agrisoft paper crumb products to the many dairy farmers who attended. Both are highly effective kiln-dried products developed specifically for cattle in both bulk and baled form, whilst being an economical bedding choice for many farmers too.
Arden’s commitment to consistency and service ensured dairy customers could rely on high-quality bedding year-round.
Notably, earlier this year we also achieved a key milestone in the production of our paper based products by achieving “end of waste” status, making our alternative bedding range a UK manufacturing breakthrough.
