Proposed Development
The proposed Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility is designed to process up to 50,000 tonnes of food waste each year. This proposed development will be situated in the northwestern area of the wider waste management site. This part of the site currently contains a mixture of largely redundant buildings, structures and hardstanding.
The proposed layout of the site is shown on Drawing Number VES_TD_NWOOD_300_000 ‘Proposed AD Plant Site Layout’.
The remaining parts of the wider site (waste recycling and treatment facility and transport depot) will continue to operate as normal.
