What is hazardous waste and how can we help you to dispose of it?
Hazardous waste covers a wide variety of waste types that can cause environmental or human harm. This covers waste such as acidic and alkaline materials, solvents, liquid waste, batteries, adhesives, effluents, and low-level radioactive materials. This also covers synthetic chemicals such as PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) - a type of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) and PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls).
Our hazardous waste management services give you access to the latest technologies for secure destruction. The Veolia Ellesmere Port facility offers the highest level of secure destruction to some of the most hazardous wastes. Our high-temperature incinerator (EP HTI) is one of the most technically advanced in Europe and is designed to treat hazardous, non-hazardous, low-level radioactive, and clinical waste materials. The facility also has ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO22301 accreditation ensuring your hazardous waste is collected, treated, and disposed of safely and efficiently.
