    Gavin Graveson is Senior Executive Vice-President, Veolia Northern Europe Zone, part of the world-leading Veolia Group and focused on delivering its purpose of ecological transformation.

    He leads a business with an 18,000-strong workforce and is responsible for Veolia’s operations in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Finland providing sustainable waste, water and energy solutions for public and private sector clients.

    Appointed Chairman of the Environmental Services Association (ESA) in 2020, Gavin is leading the sector’s response to the Government on the Resources and Waste Strategy. This includes delivering the infrastructure and innovation necessary to support resource efficiency, enhanced recycling and the transition to Net Zero.

    In 2022, Gavin was awarded a Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the recycling and waste industry.
