Secondary Liquid Fuel (SLF) blending offers a way for organic and solvent waste producers to recover value from their waste and replace the use of fossil fuels.

We take hazardous liquid wastes that cannot be recycled and blend them to create an alternative fuel, which can be used instead of fossil fuel in industrial processes.

The process

Blending hazardous liquids to produce SLF is a precise process, carefully controlled by our experienced COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) qualified managers. Sampling, analysis and compatibility tests are carried out by trained representatives and qualified chemists. Every step of the blending procedure is strictly controlled and documented with the relevant legal paperwork and our health, safety and quality certification.

Our advanced COMAH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified treatment facility near Sheffield offers a proven outlet for up to 60,000 tonnes per annum of SLF.

For alternative fuel users

Pressure is increasing on cement manufacturers to use alternative fuels and reduce the amount of fossil fuels that they burn.
