Composting

Residents in West Berkshire can now recycle green garden and food waste from the kerbside, which is collected in green wheeled bins.

The green and food waste is taken to the in-vessel composting facility in Padworth, where it is recycled into a high-quality, organic compost material.

  • Grass cuttings

Following the development of the Padworth Integrated Waste Management Facility, we can now accept food waste with the green garden waste collection.  Visit these pages to find out more about this service.
