Gavin Graveson is Executive Vice-President of Veolia UK & Ireland, part of the world-leading resource management Veolia Group and succeeded former Veolia UK CEO Estelle Brachlianoff in September 2018.

He leads a £2 billion business with a 15,000 strong workforce positioned at the forefront of sustainable development and providing integrated waste, water and energy services.

Formerly Chief Operating Officer, Public & Commercial, Gavin is committed to developing strategic partnerships and innovative, resource-efficient solutions for business, as well as providing competitive local authority services to over 8 million UK residents.

By investing further in its extensive infrastructure network, championing the circular economy and manufacturing green products and green energy, he believes Veolia will be instrumental in delivering the UK’s Resources & Waste Strategy.

In December 2018, Gavin hosted the BITC’s first ‘Waste to Wealth’ Summit at Veolia’s Southwark facility and sees the company as ideally placed to tackle the key sustainability issues of our time - climate change, resource scarcity and protecting the environment.
