West Berkshire Council and their contractor Veolia are launching new Real Nappy Packs for new parents.

New and expectant parents in West Berkshire can now apply for a Real Nappy Pack.  Packs include two Real Nappies, two fleece liners, a wet bag and information about the Real Nappy Scheme. Real nappies can help stop between 4,000 and 6,000 disposable nappies per child going to landfill or energy from waste.  Real, washable nappies can also save parents up to £500 over the cost of disposables.

Parents can apply online for the pack at www.westberks.gov.uk, or by contacting Customer Services by email [email protected] or calling 01635 519080.

Once new parents have tried Real Nappies, they can save even more money by applying for West Berkshire Council’s cashback scheme, saving £30 on a purchase of over £60 on real nappies.

Cloth nappies have changed drastically in recent years and are easy to use, save money, are better for the environment and your baby.
