New contract to benefit Shoreline neighbourhoods

Maintenance contract for Shoreline Housing Partnership to deliver green space management

Veolia Environmental Services, the UK’s leading recycling and waste management company have been awarded a three year grounds maintenance contract with Shoreline Housing Partnership.

The service which begins on 1 April 2011 will deliver grass and hedge cutting, weed spraying and shrub bed maintenance of properties across North East Lincolnshire providing residents with high quality green space management.

The announcement follows a thorough tendering process involving residents aiming to reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve service delivery.

Shoreline chief executive Tony Bramley said: “We are pleased that Veolia will be delivering the service. They have extensive experience and we are confident that they will be able to deliver high quality green space management to our local communities.”

Veolia Environmental Services, Pat Wright said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract and we look forward to developing a good relationship with Shoreline and local residents.”
