Partnership with Scottish Water offers exciting retail water opportunity for businesses

To meet customer demand to improve water services and resource management with a view to the opening up of the water retail market in April 2017, Veolia, the leading resource management company is to team up with Scottish Water Business Stream to create an exciting retail water market offering for businesses across the UK.

The partnership will combine Veolia’s global innovation and engineering expertise across water, waste and energy with Business Stream’s retailing strength, experience and large market presence to provide business customers with a holistic approach to resource management, a reduced carbon footprint and cost savings.

The new partnership will be able to deliver a wide range of services including guaranteed supply, water recovery, waste water treatment, compliance, and water management plans. This will be supported by the engineering teams and technology that can provide 24/7 coverage for plant and the data systems that provide automated meter reading e.g Home Rider AMR, Hubgrade, energy monitoring and management service and infrastructure management. An on-line consolidated billing facility covering all of a customer’s sites will also simplify water and waste water spend. Together with Veolia's Total Waste Management services including hazardous waste management it can deliver a service that meets all of customers resource management needs.
