Residents invited to Croft Farm site
Residents in Doncaster and neighbouring areas are invited to take a look behind the scenes at Croft Farm site on Saturday 8th October. Veolia Environmental Services, operators of the site, will be holding the special Open Day from 10am to 2pm and all visitors are welcome.
The event is designed to show how a landfill site works and turns waste into a resource.
During the day visitors can experience:
• A tour of the site
• Learn about the restoration of the site and new engineering activity
• Meet the local falconer
Malcolm West, Site Manager at Veolia Environmental Services’ Croft Farm site said:
“We think this is a great opportunity for our neighbours and local residents to come and explore what happens at our site. We hope people will come to meet us and gain an inside view on how we are working behind the scenes on their behalf!”
