The Veolia Innovation Den presents a once in a lifetime opportunity for innovators, designers and businesses to pitch their ideas for improved and more circular materials management to a panel of experts led by Veolia's Technical Director, Richard Kirkman.
Each finalist will be given five minutes to present their idea with only the use of creative pitching props and mock-ups. This will be followed by a five minute Q&A. Once all the finalists have presented the audience will be asked to vote and the panel will deliberate their decision.
The winner, who will be announced at the end of the session, will be given the opportunity to create a business partnership with Veolia in order to develop their project.
Commenting on the six shortlisted projects, Veolia's Technical Director, Richard Kirkman said:
“We are delighted by the variety and level of innovation represented in the shortlist. The development of the circular economy will be dependent upon innovators who have the vision to improve the way we manage our valuable resources and find ways to build more sustainable products and business models. We look forward to hearing the finalists pitch at Resource and are excited about partnering with the winning project to support its development.”
